Why I Photograph.
I am a photographer based in southeastern Wisconsin, drawn to the people, places, and moments that often go unnoticed.
My interest in photography is rooted in observation. My camera allows me to slow down, pay attention, and engage more deeply with the world around me. Whether roaming city streets, attending live events, or simply moving through everyday life, I am constantly searching for moments that reveal something unique about human experience.
While photography begins with reality, it is not merely a process of recording it. Every photograph is shaped by choices of timing, perspective, composition, and intent. Through those choices, ordinary scenes become opportunities for expression, reflection, and interpretation.
I am particularly interested in unscripted moments—the brief gestures, interactions, and details that often pass unnoticed. My work seeks to preserve those moments while exploring the beauty, complexity, and character found in everyday life.
This website is a collection of that ongoing exploration.
